Which service providers are available for Harel's policyholders?

Accepted Answer

When you purchase Harel's Tourist Insurance, you will be asked to choose one out of three medical service providers:

Medical service providers via Harel
Maccabi Healthcare Services
Clalit Health Services
*Harel reserves the right to update the list of medical service providers. In the event that a medical service provider ceases to work with Harel, insured tourists can contact Harel's customer service to receive a referral to another medical service provider.

Can I renew my Tourist Insurance for another period?

Accepted Answer

Renewal of Tour & Care Tourist insurance for another period will be subject to the approval of Harel under the conditions and insurance premiums that exist at that time.

The renewal is subject to filling out a new application in advance and in writing, including a health declaration and subject to medical underwriting.

It is clarified that at the end of the insurance period as defined in the insured's insurance details page, the insurance will not be automatically renewed.

Does the Tourist Insurance cover pregnancy?

Harel's Tour & Care Tourist Health Insurance does not offer coverage for pregnancy-related expenses.

The insurance excludes expenses related to childbirth, ectopic pregnancy, ongoing prenatal care, routine treatments or tests, follow-ups, genetic consultations, and pregnancy complications, including childbirth.

The full list of exclusions can be found in the general exceptions section of the policy. Review the policy details thoroughly to understand the coverage and exclusions.
